The Summer Collection & La La La Rauschenberg!
Period Fri. 22 May 2026 – Sun. 30 August 2026
Outline
The Summer Collection & La La La Rauschenberg! in Gallery 2 introduces works that exude a summer air alongside objects with simple, friendly shapes like circles, triangles and squares. Also on display are four large creations that the representative late-20th-century American artist Robert Rauschenberg (1925–2008) produced in Shigaraki, a town in Koka, Shiga Prefecture. This marks the first time the four works have been exhibited together since 2013.
Please enjoy the richly diverse charms of the SMoA Collection*.
